A bit larger than I would usually put in my pack, but excellent construction and plenty of light & battery life. Great addition to my hurricane gear in the house.

Perfect is all you need to know

This camping light is amazing! It's super compact, perfect for backpacking, and packs a lot of power for its size. The light is strong, easy to charge with a USB-C, and lasts a long time. I’ve used it for both camping and backpacking, and it’s easily one of the best lights I’ve ever owned. Love it!

Versatile

A bit scared of those swiveling led panels, but it turns out to be quite solid. Versatile, get’s good lighting in many scenarios (ceiling light in our kazebo, torch, various settings). It can last 2 evenings on a full charge at medium intensity light.

Great for camping

I really like the magnetic base and built in clip. There hasn't been a carabiner yet that my kids can't lose so having it built in is handy. I also like the flicker/flame timed mode. Gives you time to get in bed before it times out.

Perfect Family Camping Lamp!

The Klarus CL2 Camping Lantern was the perfect family camping lamp for us on a recent trip.We were looking for something that would hang up in the porch area of our tent and provide enough light in the instance of us being rained in and trying to amuse ourselves. The added feature of turning into a torch turned out to be very handy for trips to the lo in the middle of the night (though I also had a head torch, so my son wanted to carry his own [this] torch).This lantern gave out more than enough light to completely light up our tent porch, aided by the panels being adjustable to direct the light where needed. The ability to reduce the brightness and produce yellow, softer, light proved extremely useful when one of my sons wanted a light source to be on the whole night..........a couple of hours on the high setting, plus the rest of the night on the lower setting, lasted the whole night through on a single charge.All in all, a fantastic addition to any camping setup. Would highly recommend.
