Klarus AH3 Rapid-Deploy Tactical Flashlight Holster

This is a PERFECT flashlight holster for me. It can be attached to a MOLLEE setup or just worn on a belt. There is a quick detach, leaving just the platform around your belt and removing the rest of the housing, along with the flashlight, in a second or two. The holster itself can be swung into multiple click-in positions by depressing one small tab at the tab. That way you can adjust according to your needs or preference without it accidentally activating or getting snagged on anything. The holster itself has a VERY CLEVER mechanism that allows you to auto adjust multiple different standard flashlight lengths and thicknesses. There are two little thumb tabs by where the light rests, and depressing either one of them allows you to pull the light out and away. When placing the light back in, just close those tabs and you run no risk of it falling on it's own. VERY WELL DESIGNED. Good quality hard plastic and thoughtful use of space. GRADE A++. This is an extrmely fancy flashlight holder. I actually had to read the instruction manual to make sure that I was doing everything right, and to ensure I knew what all of the features were. It rotates, locks, adjusts, and clips securely to a belt/vest. Basically every feature you could want on something like this.

It is mostly plastic, but the flashlight holder portion does have a metal plate which will reinforce it and should hopefully hold up well over time, considering this flashlight holder is made to receive a lot of insertion/removal cycles. At this time, I do not think there will be any issues with durability or longevity, but if any arise, I will update this review. For now, five stars. Hopefully the images I have attached to my review can assist in visually demonstrating the features.

This is a very rugged and flexible in design holder for a flashlight. I tried it with a surefire and it is about 1 inch in thickness where the retention clasps are. Retention is locked in by rotating the thumb levers downward, this squeezes the clasps against the barrel. To release you rotate them up and firmly pull the light out. There is a plunger at the base that when pushed in allows 360 rotation of the holder, so you can carry up down or sideways, or at a cant. The device will fit on up to a 2.25" duty belt. It is secured to the belt by a spring loaded rotating clasp that engages the two back straps. Also the flashlight can be inserted right side up or down. This seems to be a very well made and tough carrier.

This is seriously a great flashlight holster. I really like the design and thought put into it.

Starting off with the material its made from, it feels like a good strong sturdy plastic vs other more weak feeling and maybe more flexible in areas it should not be. This feels sturdy and strong.

I really like the almost universal compatibility it has. You can see i have a odd shaped light bolstered and it keeps it no problem. Good retention and easy release.

The pocket clip has a nice retention to keep it locked into place and not accidentally pop open while on a hike or training. And it has a full clockwise turn function and lock feature. Meaning if you want to have the light on your hip, keep it bolstered and dial it to your desired spot and you can have it illuminate your path hands-free.

All in all I really like this and it will definitely be added to my belt. I strongly encourage it especially for the price.

This flashlight holster works perfectly with both of my high-powered mini flashlights. The flashlights lock into the holster, very securely and quick and easy to remove when needed. The holster has made a very high-quality components and has a very good fit design and finish. I'm super happy with the holster and it's working out perfectly for my intended use.

The Klarus AH3 Upgraded Flashlight Holster is fantastic. Features 3 methods of securing, adjusting or removing, etc. You can keep the flashlight in the holster and remove as needed. You can rotate freely to any angle. And to make sure your flashlight won't fall out, you have securing tabs. Great tactical holster. Good materials. Manual has small print and pics though.

I normally carry my edc light in a leather holster along with my Leatherman. But this has changed the way I carry it. It's super easy to put the light in and you can get it out in a flash(pun intended) you can also just rotate it and use the light while it's on your hip. I've gone running, hiking, and working in the woods with this and the light has never budged so I'd say it's holds it very secure while also being easy to retrieve

.... I manage properties and this holster is fantastic!! Too many times I find myself in a dark basement. Which that in itself is bad enough but I'm not there to take a nap I'm there to fix a problem. 99% of the time I need both of my hands to complete the task. I've noticed that cops always have a cool flashlight holster, so that's what I did, I got this one. And this holster is perfect for my needs. It gives me hands free use of my flashlight with adjustablity where the beam is pointing, it'll turn 360! There's also detents so it locks in at different angles too! The holster is made of some glass filled plastic that's tough as nails. All the buttons are easy to see, but more so easy to feel! My flashlight locks into the holster as well so no fear of losing your expensive tool. One press on the side and your light is released from your belt and is available for hand use. I'm very happy with this item, it works exactly as it's supposed, it's built to last and it's very affordable compared to other's I've looked at. You don't need to be a cop to carry a flashlight with a cool holster. This is a really great holster that I highly recommend. Please note I'm not using a Klarus flashlight with my holster, it's another brand with similar dimensions to OEM. So my point is this works with other brand lights very well.

This Klarus AH3 Upgraded Flashlight Holster: 360° Rotation, 1-Second Tactical Access is an almost universal holster for your smaller flashlights. Well made design, strong ABS plastic, with metal reinforcements at stress points, I think this will survive my regular use. I do recommend a brief review of the instructions - logical, once you understand them.

Size-wise, it fits on duty belt, a regular belt (although, I'm not sure I'd wear it for EDC, it is a bit large), and on my vest. As far as what fits - although it is made for the Klarus line up of lights, almost everything I tried fit (my SL20x was, unsurprisingly, too big). As long as the barrel is "about" an inch (plus or minus a bit), it holds well. The shortest light I was able to hold was 3.75 long. Everything from no-name LEDs to Streamlights were held securely.

No more shoving an extra light in a hip pocket, I can attach this to vest or belt. At $20 (November 2025), it is reasonably priced. I rate this as a very good buy.

This is a fascinating flashlight holster - with a "quick release" unlike any flashlight holster I have ever used.

This holster feels like it is constructed out of aluminum or other moderate weight metal and some kind of nylon or plastic. It is very sturdy.

I really like that the holster allows me to rotate my flashlight so that I can illuminate the ground in front of me without using my hands. This is of great utility when I am out in the field.

The holster works great with my Guidesman (Menard's brand) rechargeable, tactical, flashlight. However, this does not work well with any of my MagLite variants. THe Klaus flashlights don't look much different from my Guidesman flashlight, so I do not see any sense in purchasing another. The quick release is a super feature.

The clip is large enough to fit on my 1-1/2" service belt. It feels durable and secure.

Overall this is a smart purchase for less than $20. Just make sure that the dimensions and design of the flashlights are close to those of the Klarus designs.

This flashlight holder is lightweight, easy to attach, and the quick-access feature works really well. I just wish there were fewer plastic components to make it feel a bit sturdier.

It doesn’t work well with non-round barrels; it does not fit quite as securely as the fully round ones. Not a big issue, just something to keep in mind when matching it with the gear.

Overall, it’s a handy, well-made holder that works great when paired with the right flashlight—functional, lightweight, and easy to use. Good value for money.

This is a very nice flashlight holster that can accommodate a pretty wide range of sizes in regard to the girth of the flashlight handle itself. The overall construction is very solid and durable, and everything is adjustable which is such a nice option to have. Everything works great, and I would absolutely recommend it but you should really just check out my video and decide for yourself.

Upgraded tactical flashlight holster is next level. Easton install and lightweight. 360 degree swivel allows for navigating the backyard at night or lighting up a path for a late walk. Useful to keep the hands free for the leash or phone.

This is a great tactical addition to my husband's security outfit.

Fits any flashlight over 3.5 inches in length. Great retention, fantastic design. The holder is quick detach so when not needing it, you can just take off and leave in your car or desk, but the piece that clamps onto your belt stays on the belt. I love that, doesnt change position on my duty belt. I highly recommend this holder.

I keep a good light on me working on the property going between outbuildings doing life's necessary tasks. So a light always comes in super handy and not jamming up a pocket I need for a measuring tape or hardware is ideal. This holster is remarkable. It is as advertised and very versatile. We're way beyond a simple maglite pouch here.
I imagine for professionals being able to deploy for a tactical light, swing for hands free, and re-holstering in a second, literally, is a huge plus. I use the rotate function a lot. This works with several of my after market tactical lights who shall remain nameless but they're very good lights to me.
The versatility of this is remarkable. It's like a figet device and the mechanism is well made and keeps your light quite secure. The price is fantastic. Quality tool at an incredible price.

I've owned one of these for years, but last winter I loaned it to my wife and... well I needed to get another since she wouldn't give it back. It popped up on Vine; I wasn't sure if it was the same as the one I had (it is), so I took a chance. I use mine for dog-walking. I have a belt with treat bag, poop bags, a grenade pouch (perfect size for a tennis ball), and, in the darker months, a flashlight. In the pictures you can see the setup (the red flashlight is not included with the holster, of course). You can remove the flashlight one-handed quickly even with gloves on (a little tougher to get it back in). It swivels through 360 degrees and you can pull the light and the flashlight part of the holster off the part that attaches to the belt (or a PALS (MOLLE) system). For many purposes you can just rotate the flashlight in the holster and leave it on your belt, making it hands-free. My flashlight has a COB light on the side and that works particularly well on the belt; directed forward it's a prefect walking light, let's me see what kind of poop the dog is about to eat, and even lights up traffic signs from across the street making us more visible to motorists. Love this thing!

This is a fantastic product. I didn't know I needed this until I started to use this. The product does everything the description says it does. It fits my Pelican 7600 flashlight perfectly. I will be using this in the future and recommending this to people I know. It is a great value for the functionality you get out of it. I had a slightly hard time removing the holster off of my belt while I was wearing it, which I guess is a good thing. I was able to tilt the flashlight enough to where it would illuminate the floor directly in front of my feet, allowing me to see where I am stepping hands free. I appreciate the design where it has rubber roller beads that keeps the flashlight in, not scratching the flashlight. I might consider getting a second one.

Cons:
- wish they would sell the mounting plate separately so I can have the plat on my belt or vest and quickly re-mount it depending on the set up I want to work with. It is a great feature to be able to remove the holster from the mounting plate but useless unless you can have more than one mounting plate.

I loved it. I really did. It fit my flashlight perfectly. The snappiness of removing the light once it’s in was simple, quick. And efficient. However my gripe has to do with the spring that holds the clip in place. After two times of trying to get it attached to my hoop belt loops the spring shot out. I grabbed it and placed it back in, but to no avail, it will not clip together to hold itself on my belt. Making it effectively useless which is a huge bummer because I absolutely loved this.

Edit: The seller helped me with my issue, although unfortunately I lost an expensive light in the process during the first trial with the first product. The replacement did not fail the same and did its job, making having a light at my hip much more convenient and giving me easy access to it while on duty.

Awesome flashlight holder. It is not meant for a streamlight stinger but if you flip the stinger upside down it fits perfectly! It’s only fell out twice and both times it was my fault for not locking it with the little lock thing on the sides. If you “lock it” in place it will NOT fall out ever! I would buy it again if I needed to for whatever reason and it’s well worth the money,no doubt about it!

So I clipped this onto the duty belt for night hikes and garage projects, and the 360° rotation is the hero move. It locks at firm detents, so you can angle light at a map or work surface without playing statue. The triple-lock retention keeps the torch parked but releases with a clean thumb motion—easy with gloves on and no wrestling match. Plastic feels dense and shrug-off-the-fall durable; edges are smooth so it doesn’t chew jackets. Fitment handled a couple 1” body lights without shim surgery, and the QD mount swaps between MOLLE and belt quickly. Size rides close enough that it doesn’t snag truck seats or pack straps. Value is strong if you’ve snapped one too many cheap nylon sleeves. I’d love a quieter lock click for stealthy moments and a drain slot for swamp days. As a hands-free helper around camp or during roadside fixes, this holster makes your light a tool, not a pocket gremlin.

very nice flashlight holster. fits mine firmly. build quality is great too. love that u can pull the entire holster clip off of the belt clip. being able to rotate it 360 degree to what ever position to fit your comfort or needs is amazing

Huge improvement over the other design i have. My light is Usb rechargeable so it is a bit thicker in one spot and that doesn't cause issues with this one. Love the quick release to go handheld without removing the mount from the light. Locks on securely. Fits my streamlight protac hl perfect. Nice quality injection molded. Easy to adjust. Functions flawlessly.
