This light has some weight to it.
Made from mostly metal, magnetic base, decent sized battery in it. A two hour test at 7500 lumens used less than half the battery capacity.
Can be mounted on a tripod.
Really good build quality.
Has a red light (smaller light) to preserve your night vision and the main (larger) light can do 1500 lumens which is about as bright as the high beam on a car.
There is a rubber covered port for USB charging ('C' port) and an 'A' USB port for charging something like a cell phone. This has a lot of good features and is well thought out.

All in all, I like this. It's a very good value and I'm glad I got it.

Impressive little light!

This is as bright and casts out about as far as the headlight on my quad ATV.

On the brightest white setting, it illuminates the back 1/2 of our acre.

Its a robust bulid with a thick ABS plastic shell which has withstood a drop from 4' onto concrete without leaving a mark. The green or tan front has a slight rubbery feel to it.
Its fairly heavy at just under 17 ounces, or just over 1 pound.
It's adjustable stand has positive detents you can hear and feel, it stays where you set it no matter how you have it attached to something.
They definitely built in just about everything needed for ease of placement:
- Its own adjustable stand
- strong magnetic base
- 1/4" threaded sicket for tripod use
- built in spring/carabiner hook
- or just lay it on its back

LIGHTING LEVELS
- Red light, this is the smaller light on the front. It can be solid on or 1/2 second strobe interval. It does NOT have morse code SOS, (dot dot dot, dash dash dash, dot dot dot), you will need to do that manually by covering/uncovering the solid red light. It casts out roughly a 40' diameter from 7' off the ground.

- 120 lumen 2700 kelvin, is a warm light and from 7' off the ground casts out roughly a 60' diameter, similar lighting to a 2-3 log campfire. Its definitely not an ambience little candlelight.

- 1500 lumen 6500 kelvin is as bright as the bright on my quad ATV bike. At 7' off the ground and 120' away i can clearly see the top rail of my chainlink fence. This is the light you can light up an entire camp with, or scare away unwanted visitors in the middle of the night.
We used this setting tonight while pulling the skid plates and front driveline off our Jeep. It ran constant for 2 plus hours and the battery status still says full.

BATTERY LIFE

Ive only had it a week and used it around 3 hours total on the brightest white, then just messing around with it another 30 minutes on other settings, and the battery status light still show full.
It says max 50 hours, (2 plus days), on normal lighting and max 158 hours, (over 6 days, or double that If only on at night), on red lighting.
I can't confirm either at this point, but its lasted longer than other rechargeable lights I have thus far.
Its good to know in an emergency, you can manage battery usage.

GLOW IN THE DARK RING
An added feature I didn't see in the listing is the larger main light has a glow in the dark ring around it. A great way to find the light at night, assuming it's had some light exposure to glow.
Or if the battery dies while in use you can see where the light is located.
Also great in a dark tent to quickly find the light to ward off critters. Like any glow in the dark media, its needs light exposure for 10 minutes or longer to charge it, then will glow for a few hours or longer.

This will be replacing a larger light in our overland Jeep setup. With it's mounting and charging flexibility, then it's small size for big lighting, its a great edition to any camping or home shop use.

I have zero complaints or even suggestions for improvement at this time. I'll report back if something changes.

I really like this rechargeable light. It is a hefty light which is great, but the magnet strength is just barely strong enough to support the weight. A bump can easily knock this light off. I really like the brightness of the light and the ability to select 4 different color temperatures. The red light is great to leave on overnight in a campsite to gently illuminate the area without being disruptive to sleep. The carabiner doesn't have a very wide opening, so it's usefulness will be somewhat limited because of this. It does have a good sized 13,500 mah battery inside which is pretty big for a unit of this size. This feels like a high end light and am looking forward to using it more.

This little lantern packs a very bright light. This is going to be a handy little thing on our family camping trip coming up. I was quite surprised when I opened the package. It came with a full charge. It also comes in a really nice pouch for protecting it while on go. It has multiple different modes so you can adjust the brightness level and it also had a s.o.s. mode, which is a nice feature. Its made out of quality material. This a solid little lantern.

I got this in preparation for storm season. I am really glad I did. This light is lightweight and compact. This light has 6 modes. In red light mode, it is rated to run for over 6 days on a single charge. It charges completely in 5+ hours. It is waterproof. In high mode, it puts out over 13,000 lumens. That's a lot.

This is a really well designed portable/rechargeable camping light. As soon as you open the box, and feel the light "in-hand" you can just feel the quality. Most rechargeable lights feel toy-like by comparison.
What I was expecting, was a portable rechargeable camping light (which this light definitely is). However, it is also way more than that.
In additional to enjoying the outdoors, I also shoot lots of pictures and videos. One of the issues with shooting video and pictures is always: "is there enough light"? And the truth is, it's not just any light - you need to have light that "color matches" the kelvin rating of any existing lights in the shot. The reason I mention this, is this camping light actually has options to set different kelvin settings. Meaning, this light can be configured to match indoor incandescent lighting (soft white), or just as easily be used to enhance and increase the amount of natural sunlight (blue light). Having a portable and durable light which is rechargeable and color temp configurable, is nothing short of fantastic!
Overall: An incredible portable light which can be leveraged in all sorts of use-cases thanks to the excellent design. Also mounts to a tripod or stand if needed (threaded mount in base)! 5-stars!

Like the title, this is a super bright, Variable color temperatures and fast charging power bank all-in-one.

This comes with a 36-inch USB-C cable, a fabric drawstring pouch, instructions, and the light.

Standing on its attached base, this measures about 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide, and about 2 inches in thickness. Weight is about 1 pound and 2 ounces.

A rubber flap on the top of the light reveals USB type C and type A ports. On the back of the unit, you have your light controls.
Double-click the left power button, and the light will come on at 120 LM. You can keep pushing to cycle through 120,300,750 and 1500 LM, and turning the unit off and back on resets the brightness level to 120 LM.
To change the color temperature, the right button will cycle you through 2700K,3500K,4500K, and 6500K. The color setting will stay on whatever you set it at.
There is a red light that is controlled by a center lower button. Double press, and the red light will come on. If you press it again while the light is on, it will start flashing the red light. Pressing it a third time will turn it off.

This light has a tripod mount, powerful magnets, and a clip that you can use to secure the light.

You can also use this as a quick-charging power bank. As shown in the pictures, I could quickly charge my Samsung S22 ultra.

Overall this is a high-quality light and would make an excellent addition to any outdoor activity, camping, prepping, or just keeping in your vehicle.

If you look at this as more of an area/work light, the value is stronger. If you look at it as a camping lantern, there are more economical options out there. However, the other features of this product definitely add more value, making this an intriguing proposition. First off, it charges the huge 13500mAh battery inside via USB-C. From empty, it would take 6 hours to charge using a 5v/3a power supply. The lowest brightness setting on this light is advertised at 120 lumens, which is fairly bright for a camping lantern. The highest setting of 1500 lumens is great for an area work light. The battery size gives this some heft (481g, almost half a kilo), so I wouldn't take this on a backpacking trip.
I like the tripod mounting hole on the bottom of the stand, along with the built-in magnet, and rotating stand. All great features that add to the versatility of this area/work light. Definitely something I'd use in the garage when working on my car or anywhere around the house where I need additional light.
I could see myself taking this car camping, however as others have mentioned, the carabiner clip isn't the biggest and slightly limits the mounting options. In addition, the light is directional and not diffuse, so it lights up wherever you're pointing the thing. There's no way to diffuse it 360 degrees. The power bank feature is great though and would allow me to charge up other devices on the go. Recommended, but only if you're looking for a versatile area/work light and not specifically for a camping lantern.

Light options are great

This is an excellent little work light. It's compact, it's bright, and the battery lasts a long time. The color temperature adjustment is not really necessary for my purposes but it's pretty neat to have, I usually use it on 2700K or 3500K. The beam is pure flood, the opposite of a spotlight, perfect for lighting up a broad area.

The mounting options for this are really good. The magnet is nice and strong and the angle adjustment has 11 distinct positions that click solidly into place. It also has 5mm threads for a standard tripod and a carabiner built into the base if you want to hang it up.

Using the light is super simple because the buttons are labeled (there's even a reminder to double click for on) and there are indicators showing which output level and color temp you're on. The phone charging works great and could charge my phone several times over. There's a standard USB A to USB C cable included that can both charge up the light or be used to charge from the light, and they also give you a little drawstring carrying bag.

I have zero complaints about this light. Highly recommended.

There is only one thing I can say that might be a negative to some and that is the weight. It is a smaller light, but it's hefty let's put it that way I like the weight though it just helps give it that premium kinda feel, who doesn't like that feeling right? There is absolutely nothing else that is even remotely bad about this work-ish camping portable almost pocket-sized supernova. I'm having trouble assigning it into a category it just kinda works well at everything except being a dim light.

The comfort level is... premium comfort level 10 out of 5. going right along with that amazing feel from its heftiness is a rubber texture covering the cast aluminum housing and what seems like explosion-proof plastic could be wrong on the type of plastic but it's just as strong as it is good-looking. I will, I am, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the Klarus camping work light. (their words not mine, I still don't know what to call it, besides my favorite)

Overbuilt, robust construction. Multiple color temperatures, intensities, and lighting modes. High capacity battery. Can also be used as an external battery to charge other devices. USB C charging and included USB C cable. Integrated carabiner, magnetic base, and 1/4 20 threads provide multiple mounting options. I can’t say enough good things about this light. I liked it so much I bought two, one in each color. It’s incredibly well built. I use the magnetic base to mount it to the side of my truck while camping. It makes a perfect portable scene light.

The Klarus Camping Light weighs over a pound and has a bulky, square shape--so not convenient to carry around like a flashlight, but there are a wide variety of ways you can mount it including screwing it on a tripod. (Love that feature! see pic) During a power outage in the dark, setting on maximum will illuminate a large area brightly enough to carry out all functions you could do in a room lit with electric lights. Even on the lower brightness settings it does a good job of lighting up the area.

Lives up to the claims in the product description, although it did take more than the 5.5 hours to recharge. More like 6.5 hrs. but we weren't using a fast charging block. Holds a charge for a long time. Great that you can also use it as a power brick--it brought a cell phone from 60% to 85% in about 10 min. with no reduction in the light's charge level or performance. Red flashing emergency light can be seen from at least 35 ft. away.

Nice to have the ability to change the character(temperature) of the light as well as the brightness. Lens area gets pretty warm on the maximum brightness setting after awhile, but the body of the lamp stays cool at all times. Highly recommend.

This light works great for my purposes. I wanted something to illuminate the backyard when I take the dogs out at night, and I wanted to be able to set it down, not have to hold it like a flashlight. I love the compact shape and that it's heavy for it's size. I can only speak to the brightness and battery at this point, because I haven't put it through its paces the way other reviewers have, but I have no complaints at all.

This is possibly the best quality camping light that I have ever seen. It has a powerful 13500mAh battery and the overall construction feels very solid. It may also serve as a power bank and be mounted on a tripod. A double-click turns it on and through its COB LED, it defaults to 120LM output. With another single-click it will toggle through 300LM, 750LM and 1,500LM outputs, all indicated by a blue light on the back of the lantern. You are also able to choose the brightness color and toggle between 2700K, 3500K, 4500K and 6500K. Naturally, the light will remember the last setting used. You may also turn on a red LED light that will stay on for over 150 hours. With the 1500LM output it will reach almost 50 meters distance and last around 5 hours. It also has a battery status indicator on the back and it is IPX5 waterproof. Even the operating manual is well written, a rarity nowadays. The only point to improve, as I see it, is that the same way that a double-click turns it on, it should be able to turn it off, without the need to cycle through the four lumens output possibilities, but this is no big deal.

In summary, this is an impressive camping light. A must have.

We camp on an island in a pond in the mountains. Everything we bring has to fit in a boat, and we have to traverse an area between two bodies of water that is very rocky and shallow, often requiring us to remove everything from the boat and carry it and the boat (and sometimes even the motor) across separately. While the 50 to 150+ hours of run time was attractive, the moment I held this, I knew it would be too heavy to bring with us. With other gadgets available that combine fans, radios, etc., with the light function, we had to opt for more useful items to justify the weight. It's a shame because this is a very well-built piece of equipment that I will surely use on less extreme camping trips. I love the magnetic feature, but the battery life was my main selling point.

**Update** Sadly the camping season has ended, but I have opted to keep this light handy by storing it in my hall closet instead of packing it away with the rest of my gear. It has already come in handy a few times without having to be recharged and takes up very little space.

This excellent light has different temperature and brightness settings. Many LED lights aren’t helpful because they are too bright white and are without varying temperature colors to better see or to create different-coloring ambiance lighting. This also has a flashing red emergency light, a large battery for several nights of use, and several hanging capabilities.

I would want a light for both camping and house maintenance projects, as I don’t camp enough to justify a dedicated, higher-price camping light.

This light is bulky for carry-around house maintenance use. For example, I would want to set and aim the light to where I’m doing household repairs. Other lights have superior ergonomics for use on repairs projects.

For the campers, this is a five-star. For someone wanting a camping-household light, four stars.

Not lightweight at all but BOY OH BOY is it bright, holy cow. Very durable ABS outer (ABS is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite materials as an outdoorsy girl). Great battery life. I love it. Very likely won't fit the weight requirements for backpacking, but this is phenomenal for regular camping. Durable as heck and could be used as a lethal projectile weapon if necessary.

I am very happy with this little cube. It is very well built, feels and is solid, has plenty of functions and the light output is more than adequate for most scenarios.
One of my favorite features is the glow in the dark ring around the main lens, it makes it easy to spot during night time and if you do need to use it it will also recharge for another couple hours of photoluminescent duty.
The light output capabilities should be enough to satisfy any taste/need. From 120 lm to 1000 and 4 different color temperatures there are plenty of options for everyone to be happy.
I also liked the attachment options: it can be installed on a tripod as a work light, hung by the included carabine or attached to a metal surface via the magnetic base (you will need a thicker metal surface as the magnets are not the strongest I've seen).

One thing to be careful with is the temp of the LED if used on the highest setting for longer than 30 minutes : it gets really hot, I could barely touch the lens/lens area for longer than a couple seconds before it got burn-ey. That's not a big deal if you are aware of it but it's something to watch out for.
Battery life on high is not long, maybe 2h in the right conditions.

The light covers a wide area for it's size. It's an excellent work light. The brightness is adjustable, as well as the color temperature. It's easy to turn on the flashing red light.
The magnet is very strong, I would not worry about it falling unless it got a good bump. The carabiner/hook is a little odd. It can even be mounted to a tripod. The base angle can adjusted as well.
I haven't used it in the rain, hopefully I never have to. But the light feels pretty water resistant, and there is a rubber cover for the USB ports.

It's USB C rechargeable, so you can recharge just about anywhere now days. Though it still takes a few hours to charge. But that's normal for these types of batteries. It will recharge my phone too. It takes about 37 minutes to charge my phone from 67% to 100%
Honestly I can't say how long the battery runs. I haven't used it for many hours in a row. But it holds it's charge while not in use.

It's a great light. Perhaps a little on the expensive side. I wouldn't regret purchasing it though.

The specs say it weighs only 1.2 pounds which isn't really much but for its compact size that means it has some weight that makes it feel sturdy and durable. The lights are insanely bright (which is a good thing!) and its small size makes it perfect for setting on the end of the picnic table and lighting up the table top. My husband fishes a lot at night so this has also been very handy for hanging on just about anything nearby, even his chair, to light up the immediate surroundings. We keep this in the car so that even when we don't need a light we have a charger for our devices if needed and use it for that purpose frequently. Love this little green box light and have no reservations about recommending it.
