Customers praised this compact, bright 600-lumen tactical light for its excellent value and ease of use. Many noted it "brightly lit up the room" with tactile switches and strobe function. Some concerns about attachment tightness, limited holster compatibility, and screen-printed logos. Overall highly recommended for home defense.

Compact and bright

Attached this to a Walther PPQ 4" and it fits very well. I wanted a small, minimalist light that was also bright and easy to use. This one was one sale, so I decided to give it a shot. Charged it up and after installation, turned it on and brightly lit up the room. Switches are tactile and simple. Also has a strobe function.

Not f’in bad.

What it does it does well. It is small, accepts readily available usb charger, it very bright compared to a certain viridian light I replaced with it, and has held up to two range trips and every day carry for about 2 months. What it doesn’t do it sucks at. Aftermarket support? Who needs aftermarket support. That said, I do use a versa carry holster since some sort of skeleton rig is about the only way you’re toting this around other than saggy waistband carry. The attachment system is easy to adjust but it has to be. To get it just right you’ll be taking the whole thing off your pistol several times. I grant they can’t copy other companies but this is the epitome of “it’s very easy to make something complicated”All in all I am content with it. It does it job and it twice helped me not break the bank; once for the price of the light and severely limiting the holster market for me.For odd or older platforms that don’t have the support of the industry they once did or never did it’s a pretty good option

Great alternative to olight pl mini Valkyrie 2

Received today - very happy with design and build quality. This is excellent alternative to the olight pl mini Valkyrie 2 (essentially a copy without the quick detach and magnetic charging). I like olight products and have several of them. The klarus gl1 was too good of a deal to pass up, especially with it on sale for a third of the price.

Great little light and worth buying

It held up just great on my glock 19x after a day at the range. It easily can be turned on and off. I use it on my home defense pistol

Pretty good for the price

Fits my P-10C well, though you really have to tighten it so it doesn't slide. I'd say you need to go a bit beyond hand tight. Ambidextrous controls make it easy to control. Toggling on/off is easy, but toggling strobe is a bit more difficult than say a rifle light with a pressure pad as with this one, your trigger finger needs to go down instead of the more natural "into" the pistol. Been trying to practice toggling strobe and still only get it about 50% of the time. I'd be happier with a long press that toggled strobe instead of holding for the light. Need my trigger finger for trigger squeezing. The last downside is the screen printed high contrast white logo and markings on the left and bottom of the light. Tried scratching if off at the bottom and didn't work, may try solvents or just painting in the future. Would've gladly spent the extra few bucks if they engraved their logo instead of printing it, makes it look cheap, but you get what you pay for I suppose.

Bright, adjustable and easy to use.

Great value for a quality light. Bright and easy to adjust for perfect reach. Tool free removal with thumb screw and seems pretty durable. Highly recommend.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a genuine product with a valid warranty?

Yes. We are an authorized dealer for Klarus and TrustFire, so every light we ship is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty, handled by us. Flashlights bought through unauthorized or grey-market sellers are usually not covered.

How fast do you ship, and what does it cost?

Orders placed on business days leave our Port Charlotte, Florida warehouse within 24 hours. Shipping is free on US orders over $49. We hold our own stock, so if the site shows it in stock, it is on a shelf here.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days through a simple return process. See our refund policy for full details, or email us first if you are unsure whether a light is the right one and we will help you decide before you buy.

How many lumens do I actually need?

More than most people expect to hear: usually fewer than you think. 200 to 500 lumens covers everyday tasks, 500 to 1,500 covers work and duty use, and above that you are buying reach rather than usable working light. Runtime drops sharply at maximum output on every light ever made.

What is the difference between lumens and beam distance?

Lumens measure total light output. Candela measures beam intensity, and that is what determines how far a light throws. A tightly focused 1,000-lumen thrower will out-distance a 3,000-lumen floodlight, which is why reflector design matters as much as the headline number.

Which battery does it take, and do you sell spares?

Most of our lights use a built-in or removable lithium-ion cell such as a 14500, 16340, 18650, 21700 or 26650. The size is listed in the product specifications. We stock protected cells in all of those sizes plus a multi-chemistry charger, so you can keep a charged spare ready.

Can you help me choose between two models?

Yes, and we would rather do that than have you return something. Email Customersupport@brightlightled.shop or call 941-273-3209, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm EST, with the two models and how you plan to use the light.
