Not the right one for me.

Flashlight seems to be of great quality. My issue was when I carried it in the supplied holster the flashlight would always turn on. I contacted Klarus through their Facebook Messenger to get some suggestions but did not get a response. I returned the flashlight.

This light is BRIGHT... If purchasing for home use you will hardly ever need the high setting. External charge port is a significant upgrade. Don't yet have a feel of battery life, therefore did not rate.

Does not appear to reach 603 meters

I live in the city, and i tried its brightest setting while shining this across the street at a couple of closed businesses about 400 feet away, but it did not illuminate the trees directly behind the business. Decent light otherwise but maybe it only reaches 603 meters in the open country side? maybe?

Pretty Good

I had a great flashlight that I absolutely loved but I misplaced it last hunting season and was looking to replace it with this one. I've spent a lot time looking at various replacements as my old one is no longer being sold. I decided on this one and I can't say I'm disappointed because it's definitely above average in terms of brightness and reach, however, if I compared it to my old one, I'd give it a 7/10. Overall, it's a great flashlight, just doesn't have the true reach of my previous one.

Great long distance flashlight.

It arrived in good shape with no sharp edges or factory flaws. The anodizing is really good and has a good grip to it.

It has a great long beam with enough spill to light up the area around you. It has a very easy UI to use, plus two different modes, outdoor and tactical. The big button turns the flashlight on and the flat button allows you to cycle through low, medium, high and turbo. It doesn't have memory so when you turn it off and back on, it will start in the high setting. Make sure you are not pointing it towards your eyes because it will leave spots in your eyes.

It comes with a self branded 21700 battery and a plastic tube for using 18650, 18350 and 16340/CR123A batteries. The 21700 battery is too big to fit in my liitokala 600 charger, so I couldn't do a discharge test. It has a built in USB C charger and it drew around 1 amp while charging and terminated charging when it was full.

The tail-cap was the only part that will come off. The threads were nicely cut and doesn't have any anodizing. They were a little dry and needed some silicone grease.

It came with a nice lanyard and a very nice nylon holster. Despite having a 21700 battery and a large head for a long throw, it doesn't feel heavy.

If you need a light that can be used for search and rescue or around your property, with the ability to use different size batteries, then I can definitely recommend this flashlight.

Want a bright light?? Here it is!!

Extremely bright! And very compact also. Definitely have to study The instructions to understand all the different settings, but the strobe is easy and the bright light is easy too.

How many lumens do I actually need?

More than most people expect to hear: usually fewer than you think. 200 to 500 lumens covers everyday tasks, 500 to 1,500 covers work and duty use, and above that you are buying reach rather than usable working light. Runtime drops sharply at maximum output on every light ever made.

What is the difference between lumens and beam distance?

Lumens measure total light output. Candela measures beam intensity, and that is what determines how far a light throws. A tightly focused 1,000-lumen thrower will out-distance a 3,000-lumen floodlight, which is why reflector design matters as much as the headline number.

Which battery does it take, and do you sell spares?

Most of our lights use a built-in or removable lithium-ion cell such as a 14500, 16340, 18650, 21700 or 26650. The size is listed in the product specifications. We stock protected cells in all of those sizes plus a multi-chemistry charger, so you can keep a charged spare ready.
