Compact tactical flashlight delivering exceptional brightness at 2300 lumens with multiple modes. Customers praised "excellent quality" and "very bright" output. However, concerns include rapid heating on turbo mode, inconsistent battery longevity (some failing within months), small mode buttons, and reliability issues with charging ports and switches.

Really nice flashlight.

This is a great little flashlight.... Really really bright! I've blinded myself twice with it, testing it out on the wall and using it to see between the wall and my couch. Highly recommend.

Great flashlight

This little beauty is exactly what I was looking for. Small, lightweight with tail switch. The only thing is the buttons to change mode are extremely small.

It's definitely bright and not just throwing numbers out there.

If you're going to get one of these, get one of the brighter ones. The smaller 2100 lumen light is bright enough, but it's not as durable as the others from my personal experience. Coworkers have a the 3k/4k models, I bought the 2k. Took a month and only 2 short drops for it to break inside. Theirs are old and have been abused, still working. Spend the extra couple bucks. Unless you're not doing much near hard surfaces. Good brand of light though overall.

Nice torch

I didn’t go for 5 stars because although it says usb c charging, it will only charge using the lead it comes with and none of my other usb c cables which is a bit annoying. Also defaults to the brightest setting when turned on which is a bit frustrating. Nicely built though and good brightness

Terrible company

I purchased a xt2cr pro along with another xt pro series light. I spend around $200 for the 2 lights. Within 3 months the pocket clip broke. I contacted klarus to get a replacement and the way they talked to me was unheard of. They then told me I had to buy the clip for $2 and pay for shipping. WHAT? if it’s $2 why don’t you just send me one?! Worst company ever!!!! I have many pocket torches of different brands. This will be my last Klarus. I highly recommend the sofirn Sc31 pro. I ordered it directly from the company in china, paid $23 with a good 18650 protected cell. It’s been a nice durable light. I actually bought 3. And anyone can buy three and still pay less than a klarus light. Please do yourself a favor and heed my warning, “ DO NOT BUY KLARUS”

A sturdy & powerful torch

This is a well constructed and robust small pocket torch. It is easy to operate and switchable between two modes offering both a 'tactical' and 'outdoor' option (essentially the former offers a strobe option)
The beam is clear, bright and covers a large area. The 'turbo' option provides the brightest light but this can be switched through, 'high', 'medium' to 'low' which is very useful in different situations.
Charging is via an included USB cable and takes approximately 3/4 hours.
Overall a very capable torch

Very bright very sturdy

For the size of this torch it is insanely bright and it seems like its absolutely bullet proof. Made of good quality metal and doesn't have the cheap feel of other torches. Do not look directly at it on its highest setting whatever you do

Super bright, handy, control default could use a memory feature

Nice, compact light. I have many (too many) small flashlights and keep this in my travel backpack for out of town trips.

It’s very well made, with easy buttons and charging port access. Blindingly bright on high / strobe, and a crenellated ring around the lens for self-defense.

Honestly, just one (perhaps two) small gripes: mainly, there’s no memory on the brightness when you turn this on. Very very ultra bright isn’t always what you want in a hotel room or at home in the dark. A number of my other small flashlights (Anker, Klarus come to mind) ‘remember’ the last setting and start with that next time. You are forced to click the rear hinged ring to get to a useable indoor light.

The other very small gripe regards the battery life indicator. It’s small, quite recessed, and goes out quickly after turning on. Staying on for ten more seconds, or a more flush mounting, would be a big improvement.

Overall, a good compact light, perhaps not perfect, but very useful.

Love it

I got interested in this light after I watched a YouTube video where someone reviewed the XT1C (discontinued model) and mounted it as a weapons light on a shotgun. He made some great arguments for the operation of the dual tail light switch that I thought made a lot of sense. If they still made the XT1C, I probably would have bought it instead. It's not as bright but from my perspective I would have happily traded some brightness for the smaller size, especially for a shotgun. Unfortunately, the updated version of that model isn't very clear about the diameter of the body making it hard to determine if I could actually mount it so I decided to get the XT2CR Pro. I'm very impressed. The diameter of the body is pretty much exactly 1 inch. I tried it in several different 1 inch light mounts, 1 picatinny and 2 mlok versions with no fitment issues. I really like that this light comes with an 18650 battery. I have a few of those around and all of them fit and worked fine in this light. You can charge the provided battery in the flashlight with a usb-c cord (included) or you can charge it in an external charger. For me the ability to swap in a fresh (non proprietary) battery and keep using the light is a huge advantage. I mounted this light on a 12 gauge shotgun. I'm right handed so I mounted it far forward on the left side of the foregrip. I can activate the strobe or the turbo mode easily using my left thumb. If I choose turbo mode, it's really easy to tap the lever and decrease the light level. I also like that mounted this way, I don't need a separate remote tail switch (though Klarus does sell two different ones for this model). The light appears to be very well constructed and only weighs about 6 ounces with the battery in it. Since I mounted the light, I've shot 50 to 100 rounds through this shotgun. The shotgun is a semi automatic tactical model so I primarily shoot slugs and buckshot with it. These rounds tend to kick harder then a lot of other types of shotgun shells. So far the light hasn't flickered, burped or malfunctioned at all. The light comes with a perfectly serviceable holster that can be used on a belt or molle mounted. It also comes with a lanyard and a spare o-ring. There are several really good in-depth reviews on YouTube that you can check out. I like it so much, I can see myself ordering another.

TERRIBLE

Battery was terrible from the start. A full charge lasted about a combined 10 minutes of use. I had to charge it almost every time in between using it and this issue was from the start. After a couple months, the flashlight completely stopped working. I reached out to Klarus customer service and they responded one time, I provided them with everything they requested but they never responded back to me. I definitely do not recommend this flashlight or this brand at all due to the terrible quality and even worse customer service.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a genuine product with a valid warranty?

Yes. We are an authorized dealer for Klarus and TrustFire, so every light we ship is genuine and carries the full manufacturer warranty, handled by us. Flashlights bought through unauthorized or grey-market sellers are usually not covered.

How fast do you ship, and what does it cost?

Orders placed on business days leave our Port Charlotte, Florida warehouse within 24 hours. Shipping is free on US orders over $49. We hold our own stock, so if the site shows it in stock, it is on a shelf here.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days through a simple return process. See our refund policy for full details, or email us first if you are unsure whether a light is the right one and we will help you decide before you buy.

How many lumens do I actually need?

More than most people expect to hear: usually fewer than you think. 200 to 500 lumens covers everyday tasks, 500 to 1,500 covers work and duty use, and above that you are buying reach rather than usable working light. Runtime drops sharply at maximum output on every light ever made.

What is the difference between lumens and beam distance?

Lumens measure total light output. Candela measures beam intensity, and that is what determines how far a light throws. A tightly focused 1,000-lumen thrower will out-distance a 3,000-lumen floodlight, which is why reflector design matters as much as the headline number.

Which battery does it take, and do you sell spares?

Most of our lights use a built-in or removable lithium-ion cell such as a 14500, 16340, 18650, 21700 or 26650. The size is listed in the product specifications. We stock protected cells in all of those sizes plus a multi-chemistry charger, so you can keep a charged spare ready.

Can you help me choose between two models?

Yes, and we would rather do that than have you return something. Email Customersupport@brightlightled.shop or call 941-273-3209, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm EST, with the two models and how you plan to use the light.
