Pretty solid light

(I bought this from a different seller) I work in law enforcement and use this almost daily. I really like this because it has a tailcap on/off switch only. The side button will only switch the brightness (or strobe/sos) while it's on. The tailcap switch is really nice feeling to the touch, the side button is nice too. The only complain is the battery, which I have heard Trustfire does not have the best batteries, but we'll see (it comes with a battery). It's USB C charger, which I prefer over olight or streamlite proprietary chargers. The change I would make is the head, I wish it was the same size as the body. Also it will fit in a single double stack magazine pouch. Would recommend as an alternative to the major light brands.

The best flashlight I have ever purchased, so far light works great and also great price for the quality. Fenix are the same but a bit pricey. I would recommend this flashlight.

Impressive quality and features

This is a lot of light is a very small package. The light is actually smaller than I thought it would be. It is built well, and looks sharp. The top switch easily changes the brightness levels. The tail switch works well and clean. The light beam is bright. It is a very wide and diffuse. It would be good for general use, and mechanical repair especially in a lower mode. In turbo, it effectively lights an area out to about 50 meters. I was hoping for a little more throw and focus. On turbo mode. the bezel heats quickly, so I am not sure when thermal protection will kick into force it lower. I like the built recharging of a standard 18650.
This is a wait and see light.

Long lasting flashlight

I needed a flashlight for work and was using my friend's. This one is a whole lot brighter, even at the lowest setting. Love that I can charge it with an USB-C, but it uses a button top 18650. At least, I won't get confuse with my vaping batteries, which are flat tops. On a single charge, the flashlight lasts about 6 months, which is good when prices for batteries are insane for what they are. I don't know if it is a problem at first it was; I thought the size was small, but it doesn't bother me anymore. The strobe mode is somewhat difficult to access. I am glad that I rarely need to use it.

I work inspecting manufacturing sites and a high quality, high intensity, but pocket size flashlight is a must. I lost a previous older model Trustfire and replaced with this one. This product far exceeds my expectations. Far better than the older model I had. Highly recommend this quality product. I would redesign for 3 settings instead of 5 (low, medium, high).

I use this flashlight at the bar I work at and it has never steered me wrong.

It has lasted me two years after doing stuff with the military and working in a bar. It is bright enough to get the job done. Anything brighter would make what I do more difficult. It is reasonably prices and is very durable.

How many lumens do I actually need?

More than most people expect to hear: usually fewer than you think. 200 to 500 lumens covers everyday tasks, 500 to 1,500 covers work and duty use, and above that you are buying reach rather than usable working light. Runtime drops sharply at maximum output on every light ever made.

What is the difference between lumens and beam distance?

Lumens measure total light output. Candela measures beam intensity, and that is what determines how far a light throws. A tightly focused 1,000-lumen thrower will out-distance a 3,000-lumen floodlight, which is why reflector design matters as much as the headline number.

Which battery does it take, and do you sell spares?

Most of our lights use a built-in or removable lithium-ion cell such as a 14500, 16340, 18650, 21700 or 26650. The size is listed in the product specifications. We stock protected cells in all of those sizes plus a multi-chemistry charger, so you can keep a charged spare ready.
